Our amazing club of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. 

Kiwanis Club of Los Gatos is a part of Kiwanis International.  We've had our local club since 1923.  Representing Los 

Gatos, Saratoga and Monte Sereno, our goal is simple: do good in our community.

Each year we award over $20,000 in scholarships to our local high-schoolers who have overcome huge challenges in their young lives and “turned-around” their unique circumstances to be the best that they can be, with plans for college and beyond!  Past examples include kids who have overcome bullying; kids who have fought through and beat cancer; kids who fell in with the wrong crowd, but fought their way out of drugs and alcohol addiction; kids who have risen back to get good grades and graduate high school with their peers. This “Turn-Around Scholarship” is unique to Kiwanis. We believe that all kids deserve a chance and that those who have overcome life challenges go on to make the most and best out of their lives.  

Awarding these scholarships to these deserving kids is what makes everything right in the world.

In 2023, the Turn-Around scholarship awards luncheon was May 4, 12noon at  The Wine Cellar Restaurant in downtown Los Gatos.

The Kiwanis Club of Los Gatos sponsors, supports & advises clubs at local schools, enabling kids to learn leadership skills, community service, teamwork and camaraderie.  These clubs have been immensely popular and productive:  The Key Club at Los Gatos High School; Key Club at Prospect High; Key Club at Leigh High; Key Club at Stratford Prep; Key Club at Bellarmine.; Builders Club at Fisher Middle School; K Kids at Blue Hills Elementary, Daves Avenue Elementary and Van Meter Elementary.  We are so proud of them and all of their accomplishments!  They are our future!!

Our Kiwanis Club serves not only  the communities of Los Gatos, Saratoga and Monte Sereno, but also reaches out to anyone, anywhere, in need. 

When the devastating fires hit, we held a drive-thru donation drive for fire victims in Boulder Creek.  

From the beginning of the pandemic, we helped deliver food to home-bound seniors every week.

Not just our club members, but every member of our family of clubs pitched in and helped.  From the elementary school K-Kids Clubs  to the  Key Club members at Los Gatos High- we were in this thing together and were determined to help in any way possible.  We still are.  If you see a need - please let us know how we can help.
